Sonic
                             vs.
                         Mecha Sonic

	It was a damp, foggy morning.  Sally was impatient,
knowing that the fog would delay the rebuilding of the capital
city of her father's kingdom. Antione, like always, was sleeping
at his watch.  Sally woke up Tails to go get Antione.  Rotor was
already up eating his breakfast.  Sonic was out for his morning 
jog.

	Meanwhile, Snively was calculating thousands of plans to
take over Mobius.  Now that Dr. Robotnik was gone, he had a free
chance to take over Mobius.  He knew full well that the Freedom 
Fighters knew Robotnik was dead.  He was now trying to find a 
place for his headquarters.

	By now, Sonic was already back.  Tails came flying back.  
	"Where's Antione?", asked Sally.  
	"I couldn't find him aunt Sally."  Then they saw Ant 
walking across the bridge.  
	"Antione, where have you been?"  
	"I'm sorree my princess."  Before he could say where he
was, something was coming down from the sky.  Sonic was already
gone.

	Sonic stopped dead in his tracks.  He'd never seen 
anything like it before.  He was looking at a mecha replica of 
himself.  Then Mecha Sonic opened fire on Sonic.  Sonic juiced
toward Freedom Falls.

	Sonic figured a little water would cool Mecha Sonic off. 
Sonic had reached Freedom Falls with only a few seconds to spare
before Mecha Sonic was there.  Sonic took the first waterfall down.
Mecha Sonic had already landed and was scanning the area for Sonic.
Mecha Sonic located Sonic climbing out of the water.  Then Mecha
Sonic blasted down after Sonic.

	Mecha Sonic came down from behind and pounded Sonic into a
rock.  
	"Maybe you would like a taste of my high-powered figure 8
move," Sonic said.  Sonic sped toward Mecha Sonic.  The battle 
raged on for hours.

	The next day Sonic was fully rested.  He was up earlier 
than usual.  He was nervous about Mecha Sonic.  Sonic was waiting
for a power ring.  His power rings come at, 1 per 24 hours.  He 
was getting mondo impatient.  He'd been waiting for 10 minutes. 
Ten minutes to Sonic was very slow.  Finally, he thought, a ring 
was bubbling to the surface.  He grabbed it and juiced toward the
Mobian Plain.  There he would meet his match.

	By the time Sonic got there, Snively and Mecha Sonic were
waiting for Sonic.  
	"Get ready to meet your doom, Hedgehog," Snively said.  
Suddenly Mecha Sonic sprang to life.  With a jolt of speed, he 
flew into the air.  Mecha Sonic came down at Sonic and knocked 
him on the ground.  Sonic thought this might be harder than he 
thought.  Sonic got up and sped at Mecha Sonic with his figure 
8 move.  He slammed Mecha Sonic into a tree.  Mecha Sonic was 
furious.  He shot his lasers at Sonic.  Sonic jumped out of the 
way and landed right on Mecha Sonic.  Mecha Sonic picked him up 
and threw into a wall.  Sonic was getting mondo mad.  Finally, 
he figured out a plan.  Sonic got the ring from his backpack and
was ready for action.

	Sonic ran all over, trying to confuse Mecha Sonic.  He 
stopped and Mecha Sonic knew it.  Mecha Sonic blasted Sonic into 
the water.  Sonic surfaced, franticly looking for his power ring.  
He saw it sitting on a limb of a tree.  Mecha Sonic saw it too. 
Sonic sped up the tree, grabbed the ring, and glid down.  He spun
the ring around on his finger.

	A burst of light came out.  When the light finally 
disappeared, Sonic was black where the blue used to be.  Now Sonic
was ready to damage Mecha Sonic.  Sonic was now Ultra Sonic.

	Sonic zoomed at Mecha Sonic, knocking him into a geyser.
Mecha Sonic flew out and landed.  Mecha Sonic was scanning the are
a for Sonic.  Sonic grabbed Mecha Sonic by the head and threw him
into a huge boulder.  Mecha Sonic flew out.  Mecha Sonic blasted 
Sonic with laser.  Sonic fell backwards.  Sonic jumped up and 
juiced at Mecha Sonic.  Sonic hit Mecha Sonic and kept pushing 
him.  When Sonic let go, Mecha Sonic flew into Mt. Mobius.  
Mecha Sonic was delirious now.  He had trouble flying.  Sonic 
grabbed Mecha Sonic and was ready to juice.  Sonic grabbed the 
power ring for extra speed.  Sonic held up the ring and juiced off, 
keelhauling Mecha Sonic head first on the ground.  Sonic was 
running so fast, they were easily past supersonic speed.

	Sonic juiced into Mechatropolis still keelhauling Mecha 
Sonic.  Sonic located Snively's headquarters and sped toward it.
He then grabbed his ring again and went for warp.  Mecha Sonic was
having a power surge which Sonic figured would happen.  Sonic 
remarked, 
	"You're destruction is assured!"  Sonic slammed Mecha 
Sonic into Snively's headquarters.  Snively's headquarters blew up.  
Sonic was relieved and also very tired.  He juiced toward Knothole
mondo fast.  All he wanted to do at this moment was to sleep.  He
arrived at Knothole and crashed on his bed for the night.

	The next morning, he woke up to the bright sunshine.  He
got up to find everybody ready for a party.  
	"Sonic, you made it back last night," Sally said.  
	"Yep, sure did Sal," said Sonic.  
	"Sonic, Sonic," Tails yelled.  
	"Hey Tails, how's it goin'?"  
	"Really good Sonic." 
 	"Sonic, your the best," remarked Tails.  
	"Thanks alot Tails," said Sonic.  
	"Now everybody, let's party!" yelled Sonic.

	Under the rubble of Mechatropolis, something was moving. 
Snively popped out with the plans for Mecha Sonic.  
	"Next time, next time you, the Freedom Fighters, and 
Mobius will be mine," Snively remarked.  "Ha, ha, ha, ha,!"
